With the widespread adoption and usage of social media, we get an unparalleled insight into the mind of people. People write about all manner of things, friends, family but also work. This outpouring of views (or rants) illustrates the thinking of individuals, including employment and their attitude. Entitlement is a large element of any out of policy or undesirable action or behaviour.

Some recent incidents that demonstrate the inner thoughts and entitlement are

• The owner of a Thai-Japanese restaurant in Delaware fired a chef and manager after the two used their Instagram pages to post photographs and credit card receipts to take revenge on customers who did not tip well.
• Barrett-Ingles was a server at Barney Greengrass in Beverly Hills when he tweeted about one of his celebrity customers who failed to leave a tip.
